The Mansfield Garden Club is proud to offer an annual scholarship to one graduating high school student or a current college student. The 2026 scholarship is a one-time check in the amount of $1500.

Please pass this on to a student who fits the following requirements:

1. Applicants must be pursuing post-secondary training at a college, university, or technical school. They must be enrolling in a program related to Horticulture, Environmental Science, Forestry, Agriculture, Conservation, Landscape Design, Agronomy, Environment  Management/City Planning, Botany, Plant Pathology, or other related subjects.
2. Applicants are required to submit an essay explaining why they have selected their field of study. The essay is not to exceed 250 words and should be typed on a separate piece of paper or as a PDF document and attached to the application.
3. Applicants must submit two (2) letters of recommendation from a member of the Mansfield Garden Club, counselor, club advisor, church leader, teacher, employer, or any person qualified to attest to the applicant’s character and scholarship ability.
4. Applications must submit an official high school and/or college transcript.
5. Applications and attachments must be submitted and/or postmarked by April 19, 2026. Application and attachments may be emailed to mgc@mansfieldgardenclub.org or mailed to PO BOX 1119, Mansfield, Texas 76063. Questions may also be submitted to the same addresses.
